How Sponsorship translates into support of the women & girls
of Maine
Helps to end genera-tional poverty
through grants to organizations like the Passages Program of Wayfinder Schools, a home-based program for pregnant & par-
enting young women in rural Maine who attain a high school
diploma & critical life skills
Enables the MWF to provide technical
assistance to grantees to build their fundraising capacity and their own
sustainability
Funds programs like Four Directions
which improves the social and economic conditions for Native
women through investment in
financial counseling, affordable housing
and entrepreneurship
Supports Girls Scouts of Maine in training vol-unteers to de-
liver a series of financial literacy programs to girls 5-17 and poten-tially affecting
the lives of over 1,000 girls
Provides scholarships for
10-20 grantee staff and participants to
attend the Leadership Luncheon
Because when women and girls thrive, communities prosper.
