Open Door Policy: (1898) ­ U.S. policy intended to allow the U.S. businessess to trade with China despite "spheres of influence" by European nations.

Big Stick Policy: U.S. interventionist policy in Latin America that gave the U.S. authority to "police" the area in the interests of U.S. commerce­ "Roosevelt Corollary."

Dollar Diplomacy: Basically a renaming of the Big Stick policy by President Taft.
