Setting Up Equipment

It Is All Connected!

• SMART Boards can connect to laptops or desktop computers – PC or Mac

• For use with touch sensitive features to control the computer you need:

• SMART Board• Laptop or desktop computer• SMART Board software installed• Digital projector

Setting up the Equipment

1. Set up the SMART Board make sure it doesn’t move

2. Set up the projector & computer connect the projector cable to the computer

3. Connect the SMART Board to the computer

4. Turn on projector and then the computer adjust the image size & focus projector start the SMART Board software

5. Orient the SMART Board

How Can I Use My SmartBoard?

PowerPoint Presentations

• In classrooms, meetings, or conferences, presenters can easily share information

• SMART Board frees hands for better communication – no mouse/remote control required.
