The answer to your question is yes.
But, if you want another form produced, a request must go throughl (for an additional form in Red Wolf. The reason is that this system (Red Wolf) is Bureau wide and standards must be met for reporting requirements which precludes each division from creating reports for themselves.
Thd POC for Red Wolf i £ do not know who the POC is in Or you can contact FBI HQ @ ELSUR and see if they can create the form in Red Wolf that yoll WSM.

While the fact that we have Digital Collection Systems is not a surprise to anyone, we try to not talk about it too much. The programs behind them are sensitive, though maybe not classified Sensitive.
We have answered many questions of Congress, OIG, and other outside entities and we always try to state "Digital Collection System". The safest (and accepted) way of referring to them is using that phrase, not their individual names.
I am pretty sure the actual names "Red Wolf' or "Elsur Digital Monitoring System" are NOT classified, because here within the Bureau we talk about them all the time and usually mark emails "sensitive but Unclass." The methods and collection targets are the classified items.

The names of the systems are not classified. Although 99.9% of the time you will no doubt know the answer, in the be future, the best course of action is to refer these questions to LSS. b7c

Good afternoon
h 6 b7C
I cannot believe that the mere fact of the FBI's having Digital Collection Systems is that sensitive. As far as I know •after Language Services were audited by our dear friends from OIG, the final report (even unclassified version) contained numerous references to these systems without specifically mentioning them. In addition, there were numerous media reports mentioning these systems, obviously without going into details. In fact, I was interviewed (cleared by AD) for a local NBC station two years ago where these systems were mentioned.
However, to be on a safe side, I would seek a clarification from the ERF CSO .
Best regards,

Good Morning, You were contacted last year by one of my co-workers,
the Red Wolf FISA Digital Collection Systems. regarding the sensitive nature of ladvised our unit that the fact that
we even have these systems is very sensitive so we will need to redact these system names from any documents. My question to you now is, are only the names of those systems sensitive (and any information obtained from them) or does that include even the mention that we have FISA Digital Collection Systems? I appreciate any assistance that you can give me regarding this matter.

Gentlemen, b2 b6 Resulting from follow-up to the teleconference we had withl l a couple of months ago, we (through the Unit Chief
of TOCUl ¡received a request for comparative information between the RedWolf collection system and the b7c | A person representing! jTech Agent), would like to make b7E
arrangements to meet with a group of knowledge folks next week to discuss tne issues below plus any relevant comparative information that we know he should be considering but d.id not specifically request. As thel Isystem will be used exclusively for the collection 01 Bata, we (TOCU/ADTU) will have input to this response. However, most of the details they are looking for will need to .come from within TICTU.
b6 These are the significant issues mentioned; „ b7c
1. From e| ^perspective, how do these systems compare (TOCU/ADTU)? ' 2.. What are the capabilities or issues associated with each systeml l(TICTU) , 3. What are the issues related tcT [within each system and|

also the administative maintenance that keeps the system running smoothly once the system is initially established?
This would include ease of use and skill level required relative to the system adminstration duties? (TICTU) 5. What would the relative cost be for systems with comparable input capacity? (TICTU)
It was not specifically a question posed in the information request, however, I recall from the teleconference that physical space limitation may also be an issue. Therefore, you may want to consider providing comparative information along this dimension as. well. I get the impression from him that he would be grateful for any additional information relative to important differences between the systems that we may be able to provide..
