Similarities: School “A” and School “B” are identical, with identical

equipment

Identical space temperature set points, time of day, day (February 13, 2015)

Differences: School “A” is operating status quo, the way it was when

installed

School “B” has undergone re-commissioning by the Energy Department to optimize the operations for part-load conditions

Results: Fewer trouble calls to Maintenance (comfortable

customer, more time for other tasks)

Reduced equipment loading & run-times (longer equipment life)
