1 ST. DONATUS & ROMAN FORUM is an amazing church from the 9th century, a sightseeing must and the largest
pre-Romanesque structure in Croatia located right by the ruins of the Roman Forum. It’s also part of the elaborate Episcopal complex of Zadar including the nearby Cathe-dral of St. Anastasia.
2 THE SEA ORGAN AND GREETING TO THE SUN Sit on the broad steps leading down into the sea at the
Zadar waterfront and listen to ever-changing sootheing tunes produced by the sea organ. Just chill and linger there for hours to witness what Alfred Hitchcock called the most beautiful sunset in the world … After it has set the instal-lation Greeting to The Sun steps in creating a spectacular waterfront light show!
3 UNESCO FORTIFICATIONS The City Walls of Zadar joined UNESCO’s World Herit-
age List in 2017 as an outstanding monument of the mod-ern maritime fortification scheme. The most impressive part is the Land Gate.
4 MUSEUM OF ANCIENT GLASS There are daily demonstrations of glass-blowing, bead
making and miniature-bottle production, so see for yourself!
5 RECTOR’S PALACE today is a museum space, in differ-ent styles reflecting the rich history it holds.
9 THE CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS The small fortress-like church was built in the late 11th
century and is only 5.9 m long, 5.7 m wide and 6 m high
10 SALT MUSEUMThose who work in the local salt works take great
pride in the fact that salt is not produced by machines here, but rather harvested directly from salt pans shaped by the impact of the sun, sea and wind.
15 FUN PARK BIOGRADThe theme park offers tons of fun and spectacular
entertainment for the whole family in the very heart of the Adriatic Coast.
16 SET SAILS FROM BIOGRADThe entire archipelago is perfect for sailing as it fea-

Sakarun is a wide 800-metre-long sandy beach with a view of the open Adriatic Sea.
37 CLIFFS – the famous ”stene” of Dugi Otok island, reaching a height of 161 m and depths of 85 m.

21 THE LACE UNESCO protected Pag lace is a finely crafted prod-
uct of beauty and delicacy that many grateful owners frame and regard as artwork.
22 THE CHEESE AND LAMB - the internationally awarded Pag cheese and the relished delicacy of
Pag - lamb meat are so special thanks to the bura wind. The secret is in the mixture of the salty Mediterranean veg-etation which is a product of the bura that blows from the Velebit Mountain and the blue Adriatic Sea.
23 TOWN OF PAG, a typical medieval town built in the 15th century according to the project of George the
Dalmatian, an ingenious master builder.

38 VELI RAT LIGHTHOUSEBeing the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic, it

SAKARUN - a must-visit beach renowned for its unforgettable crystal-blue waters and white sands.
BORIK - partly sandy and partly pebbled, this beach itself offers a wide variety of entertain-ment amenities, food and refreshments.
KOLOVARE - Beach in the city centre! Play some beach volleyball or water polo, rent a kayak or SUP board and enjoy a view of Zadar from the sea.
