How to Cut Glass Bottles with Nail Polish Remover and Yarn

What You can do with this:

Materials Glass Bottle Yarn Nail Polish Remover (Acetone) Ice Water Lighter or matches Sandpaper

Clean glass bottle thoroughly (make sure there is no leftover alcohol inside)

Tie yarn around the bottle tightly (5-6 times)

Cut excess string (no loose ends)Keep string tied but remove from the bottle

Soak string in the nail polish remover completely

Place string back on to the bottle (where you want to cut the glass)

Light string on fireDo not breathe in smokeRotate the entire time until flame burns outThis induces stress on the glass

As soon as the flame burns out dunk the bottle into ice cold water

Make sure it is deep enough to fully submerge the area of the bottle being cut

If it is not a perfect cut Sand down edges of the bottle for safety
