Risen with Him (1)Revelation Vs Knowledge
St Athanasius
"[Jesus] accepted a decaying body so
that decaying bodies might put on immortality."
I know but I will not believe!!!
The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into
the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I
will not believe.” Jn 20:25
Are you a stranger?
Then the one whose name was Cleopas
answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem,
and have You not known the things which
happened there in these days?” Lk 24: 18
We know but …!
So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty
in deed and word before God and all the
people, Lk 24:19
We know but ….!
She went and told those who had been
with Him, as they mourned and wept.
And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.
Mk 16:10,11
The Creed"We confess one
baptism for the forgiveness of sins;
we look for a resurrection of the dead and life in the
age to come. Amen"
Application
1. Ask yourself ; is Resurrection for me knowledge or revelation?
2. If it is still knowledge, ask for a conversion to be a revelation
3. The same for each and every belief
4. Make it your prayer this liturgy and this week, I am awaiting your revelations for me
