Collecting tea light cups
We participate in a competition by IKEA
together with WWF. We made posters to inform families, shops and restaurants about our work. When the competition was over we had collected 91.711 tea light cups. Out of this 13 new aluminium bikes can be made.
Making things out of waste materials.
We made nice bracelets
of old wallpaper strips…
…and we are building a playhouse of old milk cartons...
..decorating inside with wallpaper.
Navet Science Centre
We learned that ” Nothing is lost, everything is still around but is spreading.” This is why we have to take good care of nature.
We learned that it is important to buy
food and things
produced close to home.
We learned how to
take care of the ”kind bacteria”.
At ”The Navet Supermarket” we learned how to make good environmental choices
when buing food. We learned about environmental labeling.
You can make a bargain when buing clothes in a Second Hand Shop ! .
Am I looking good now ?
To ”recycle” clothes is really a good thing !
At Navet we learned about different ways of producing energy.
We also
practised to recycle
right.
How to sort things for recycling.
Yes !

We learned about water…..
We learned about the
water cycle and the
water consumtion on earth. We learned about pollution and made some experiments.
..and how to make polluted water clean.
How do you think the water tastes ? One of the most
important issue in world is to
keep the water on earth clean.

• Heart It has been exciting and fun to learn about the environment and recycling. It was exciting and fun at the Navet Science Centre and the big recycling centre in Borås. It has been fun to build and play in the house made of milk cartons. It has been fun to make beautiful bracelets and learn that only your imagination can stop you for being creative with “rubbish”.
• Hands:
We have done fine paper bracelets and built a house of empty milk cartons. We used our hands in many ways at the Navet Science Centre. • Head:
We have learned much about the environment and understand that it is everyone's responsibility and that we must pull together to take care of everything on earth because “Nothing is lost, everything is still around, but is spreading.”

Bad Ditzenbach How we can help the environment
At the beginning of our project we asked ourselves: What is climate? What about the „climate change“ What can we do prevent the climate change?
Our Environment-picture-riddle Who can find the most words? Some kids created a picture riddle for all the pupils of our school. The kids could find words about conservation.
We created a lot of posters made out of old newspapers, prospects and catalogues. The posters showed how we can be environmentally friendly!
We collected the rubbish of the whole school for one
week and sorted it.
Here you can see our „water-test-station“ at our
exhibition.
Far ways of transports of food and water aren`t necessary. We tested out of the taste of different kinds of water and we realized that our water that comes out of the Bad Ditzenbacher spring is real good!
Sometimes we had to work real hard at the computer.
In Maths we calculated with different kinds of packaging.
We loved to create art made out of rubbish.
It`s even possible to make good things
out of old newspapers
Photo-session for our exhibition!
„Fair trade“ was a very important theme in Religious Education. The pupils learned why it is good to spend more money in fair trade products. On the picture, you can see Ms Lamparter. She sells Fair trade products in our region.
The last preparation before the opening of our exhibition. We offered a breakfast for the other kids, made out of biological food out of the region.
The kids even had good entertainment by playing with old cans.
The pupils, their parents and even our mayor loved the exhibition in the foyer of our school a lot!

Recycling at school
We often clean up the school area and learn how to segregate rubbish.
Recycling
We took part in the project of collecting old electric equipment organised by the local cement plant ‘Grupa Ożarów S.A.’ For every piece of equipment one could
get an ecological bag and a seedling of a tree.
Being creative with rubbish
Our school Christmas tree was really exeptional this year thanks to self-made Christmas ornaments made of rubbish.
Being creative with rubbish
Our ideas for money-boxes made of cans
Some of us have made ‘trees of happiness’ . We have used some
wire, old coins, buttons, beads and other reusable goods
Being creative with rubbish
Some of us have some really original ideas for eco-friendly Christmas gifts …
Stuffed kitten made of old towels
Can and newspaper pencil holder
Light bulb hourglass Old magazines vase and roses
Rubbish Art & Crafts Exhibition
Posters Exhibition
