Quick Guide: Recoding a Podcast on Android    Recording  Podcasts  on  Android  

 Note:  Although  there  many  free  recording  apps  available,  the  one  we  will  be  using  in  this  tutorial  is  Smart  Voice  Recorder,  which  is  designed  to  work  on  any  android  device.  

 Before  you  begin  the  tutorial,  be  sure  to  download  this  app  from  the  Google  Play  Store.  

 1. Select  “Start  Recording”  

 

   

2. Select  “Finish”  (note:  you  can  also  pause,  and  begin  again  if  desired)

 3. Name  Your  Recording  

 

   

4. Select  the  down  arrow  to  for  advanced  options  such  as  sharing

5. Select  “Share…”    

   

6. Choose  your  sharing  option.  It  is  recommended  you  share  your  audio  file  using  Google  drive.  This  way,  you  are  not  subject  to  strict  file  size  limits,  and  your  audio  will  automatically  be  saved  to  your  drive  for  later  access  on  any  other  device.
