Putting the common end into the moon box

We removed this surface of rack when we were installing the common end.

We didn’t move the moon box at all.

If we want to do the alignment, we’d better not to move the moon box too.

The coiled tube is tied on the rack

Since the coiled tube is fat and strong, we leave this half to protect the fibers.

Soft tape is used to protect the fibers

Marc: We’ve received 6 C-clamps. They’ve been put on.

MTP connecters are all connected (east side)

Upper box

Bottom box

Distribution box (west) are installed

We didn’t connect the west bundles to distribution box yet. (Will be done in this week)

West upper box

EC TOF fibers are all installedSorry I didn’t take a camera when we finished the EC TOF installation. I’ll show the picture tomorrow.

Yesterday all 48 EC TOF and fibers are all installed.

The fiber is installed when the TOF is been installing.

The extra-length of fibers will be “over-under-coiled” when they remove this supportIt is said they’ll move the east EC to barrel tomorrow, then they’ll remove the support.

The USTC DAQ situation

1.Yesterday they connected all signal cables.

2. Today they are doing the self test, but not finished yet.

3. They’ve installed the monitor board which can control our UH module and moon box. Tomorrow they’ll check their low-voltage and high-voltage first, then try to pulse the laser and read out the signal.

Next step

• Connect all fibers except the west endcap fibers. (West endcap is not finished yet)

• Find out why the Q resolution is so large using the USTC DAQ. (We’ve discussed this with USTC people, they said they’ve tried to read a stable signal, the resolution is good.)

• Analysis the data.

Thanks!
