Decentralized Staining Concept
Blood samples from collection centres that operate in resource poor settings, age by the time as they are shipped to centralized testing facilities. CD receptors are known to undergo a process called “capping” (internalization of receptors), with sample ageing.
Dry reagents enable staining to be done in collection centres that typically have no electricity to run refrigeration units. Stained samples can then be transported without the need for cold chain.
The decentralized approach to sample processing mitigates the risk associated with variation in cell counts. Studies on samples stained and fixed using dry re-agents have shown that there is no drop in staining intensity or cell count upto 8 days when stored at room temperature.

ReaMetrix Stem cell enumera-tion reagents are provided in one ready-to-use reagent dried tube. The assay just needs addition of sample, simplifying sample preparation. Incubation time is 30 minutes, speeding time to results; a boon to diagnostic labs that process multiple samples simulta-neously. Predispensed fluorescence reference beads included in the reagent tube, ensure accurate enumeration of CD34+ cells interest. The result: more efficient workflow and greater confidence in results.
ReaMetrix HLA B27 reagent: Enabling Reduced HLA-B7 Cross Reactivity
The only existing flow cytometry based reagent featuring two antibodies against the HLA-B27 antigen. The result: increased Sensitivity. The reagent use anti-B7 antibody against HLA-B7 antigen, which ensures minimal cross reac-tivity thus reducing the number of false positives. The result: higher Specificity. The reagent uses built-in intensity controls in each test making the assay highly ro-bust and independent of external standards.
