Douglas gave a sniff. He could smell Patricia’s socks. The smell made him feelquite queasy.
He packed his lunch into his bag and ran as quick as he could to escape the smell.
He ran away down the road and through the trees to the bottom of the mountain. He opened hisbag and got his lunch out again.
The sun had stopped shining and the rainbow had vanished. Just as Douglas took a bite of his food,rain started to fall.
