Glide is a non-profit

organization in San Francisco

that does some pretty

But I wasn’t always such a and shaker.MOVER

10 years ago, I was

in New York.

Living the dream.

Or so I thought.

Until one day a true popped up.DREAM JOB

The job was “Executive Assistant.”

The dream part had to do with the

executive I�d be assisting.

Janice Mirikitani was the Founding

President and Executive Director of Glide.

She was a force of nature — an inspiring

leader and true mentor. She still is.

She and Glide�s Co-Founder, Cecil Williams,

have been on the front lines of the fight for

social justice for decades.

I�m honored to fight alongside them.

From day one, it was a fit.PERFECT

The job demanded energy.

And I had ENERGY.

Late nights. Early mornings.

Helping people.

Giving them hope.

Spreading the love.

The days turned

into years.

And I was given more

and more responsibility to

MAKE THINGSHAPPEN.

Things that I couldn�t do alone.

I needed help. And so did Glide.

The economy had shifted.

Tough times made things

even tougher for the less

fortunate, so Glide

needed to extend its reach

and broaden its

SUPPORTERS.

We needed more young people.

More tech people.

The landscape was changing and

Glide needed to ADAPT.

This is where I

first started seeing the

To help me find the

right people.

People who not only

had the skills, time, and

resources I needed.

But who shared my passion for

GIVING BACK.

So I started adding

connections.

Expanding my NETWORK.

And it paid off.

Last year we were

ramping up for our big

fundraising gala.

Out of the blue,

we lost our

ticketing partner.

So I hit LinkedIn.

And quickly found

that could help on
