DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark Ignition)

The DTSi technology incorporates Twin spark plugs at either ends of the Combustion chamber for faster and better combustion. Current motorcycle and scooter engines have a single spark plug that ignites the air and fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. As a result, the rectangular combustion chambers in most motorcycle engines have a certain degree of unburnt air-fuel mix, since the flame front arising from the sparkplug does not reach all the corners of the combustion chamber. This loss of unburnt air-fuel mix leads to lower power and fuel efficiency. The DTSi technology incorporates twin sparkplugs at either ends of the combustion chamber for faster and better combustion.

Oil cooling

The cooler helps the engine in maintaining lube oil viscosity under extreme conditions of stress and temperature. It’s a simple technique in which the engine oil is circulated through an air type condenser or Heat exchanger where the latent heat of the oil is absorbed by air. This will reduce wear & tear and increase engine life.

ExausTECExausTEC is a device incorporated in exhaust system of ‘Pulsar DTS-I’ engine.‘TEC’ stands for ‘Torque Expansion Chamber’. When a vehicle is running at high RPM and if the RPM is reduced a vaccume is created in the tail pipe or the silencer. This vaccume will suck the charge from the combustion chamber when the crank is some degree above BDC . This will reduce torque as an upward pressure is experienced by the piston and charge will also get wasted. To avoid this a separate chamber is installed with the tail pipe which stores exhaust gases and when vaccume is created these stored gases fills the vaccume space.

TRICSIIIThe Third generation Throttle Response Ignition Control Automatically controls the ignition requirements to adjust to your riding mode. which is especially useful in city riding conditions. Based on the level of throttle opened, a magnetic field opens or closes the reed switch, which, in turn, is connected to the Digital CDI. The CDI then switches to the desired Ignition Advance Timing Maps (pre-programmed timing from the eight-bit processor). This helps the engine achieve an ideal ignition spark advance for every throttle opening and engine rpm level.

Digital ConsolThis Digital Consol helps to detect any failures that might occur in important components.it shows the following indicators:

Speedometer Odometer Trip meter Fuel Gauge Chocked Air Filter Indicator High Engine Oil Temperature Indicator Low Battery Voltage Indicator Low Engine Oil Level Indicator
