I'm going to talk about our province Guilan. Guilan is a

province in north of Iran and under Caspian sea . Guilan

has seventeen state . center of Guilan is Rasht . Rasht is

the biggest city in Guilan and a lots of people live there .

After Rasht Anzali , Lahijan and Asatra are big city in

Guilan .

Guilan has some beautiful places . Tourists can go there

and enjoy . For example:

1 -Caspian beach: Its a place tourist enjoy that with

swimming and seat on ship and boat and get fish . Some

people can trade by ship from Anzali port to Russia .

2- Green castle :An ancient castle made on mountains

and tourists can go up and visit it in a green and

beautiful forest .

3- Green roof in Lahijan :There are a valley between two

mountains and tourists can use telecabin for move from

high mountain to low mountain and enjoy to see tea

garden . Tea is green gold in Iran . Its grew up in Lahijan

for first time in Iran.

Tradition in Guilan

Guilan has a long ancient tradition . I want to introduce

some culture in Guilan .

1- Walk on rope :A person has a wood in his hands and

walk on rope . Rope is top of the ground . It’s a dangerous

work .

2- Ancient wrestling :A kind of tradition sport , its very

enjoyable , fans make a circle and two hero go between

circle.

Big and famous person in Guilan

1- Mirza Kouchak :He born in Ostadsara in Rasht . His real

name was Yunes . He wanted foreign enemy go out from

his country and have constitutional country ,and he made

a revolution .

2- Mohammad Taghi bahjat Fumani :He born in Fuman

and after study in high school wen to Iraq for learn more

in religion . When English soldier attacked to Iraq he

came back to Iran and went to Qom . He is a professional

reference . But now he died.

3- .DR Moein : He was Persian language doctor and born

in Rasht . He has written six Persian to Persian dictionary.
