• Agrico-industries supply “pre-harvest” inputs to farmers – seeds, fertilizers, tractors, greenhouses, etc.
• Agro-industry is “post-harvest,” processing raw agricultural products into consumer goods – flour, oil, fruit and vegetable processing, dairy plants, medicinal herb laboratories, etc.
