Sono entusiasta di potermi candidare per il ruolo di Junior Executive Assistant all’interno del Research Group Radio Networks, che prevede la possibilità di sostenere il lavoro del gruppo in collaborazione con importanti istituzioni come il CNIT.

A primo impatto il mio profilo, incentrato su un percorso artistico, potrebbe non sembrare in linea con le materie che il Research Group affronta: tuttavia, posso dimostrare come la mia esperienza lavorativa, unita agli studi paralleli a quelli universitari, possono contribuire in maniera eccezionale al gruppo di lavoro.

Negli ultimi due anni, oltre a insegnare inglese, ho portato avanti il mio lavoro di curatrice con diverse gallerie e collettivi, dove ho dovuto gestire non solo la ricerca artistica dei progetti, ma anche la rendicontazione economica e la gestione delle persone coinvolte. In particolare, l’ultimo progetto che ho curato, dal titolo “Come in cielo, così in terra”, realizzato lo scorso autunno, rappresenta un esempio perfetto delle mie competenze organizzative e gestionali. La mostra collettiva é durata 30 giorni e ha visto la realizzazione di 6 eventi collaterali, 18 collaborazioni esterne, visite guidate a più di 500 studenti di diverse scuole e la copertura delle spese è stata raggiunta al 100%. Essendo io la responsabile del progetto, ho dovuto gestire le spese e le problematiche nate da un evento così complesso realizzato con risorse estremamente limitate: insieme alla mia collaboratrice abbiamo curato ogni singolo aspetto dell’evento, dalla grafica (ho personalmente realizzato il catalogo, osservabile nel mio sito) al fisico montaggio delle opere d’arte.

Dalla vendita dei cataloghi abbiamo ottenuto una somma di denaro sufficiente da poter investire nel corso di Europrogettazione della Europe Innovation Business School, che mi ha preparata per poter scrivere bandi europei.

Inoltre, per quanto riguarda le attività di supporto che il Junior EA dovrà realizzare, posso dimostrare un’adeguata esperienza gestionale grazie al mio lavoro presso la Lauren Baker Art Gallery, dove il mio team era responsabile della gestione di tutte le attività di mantenimento della galleria, dalla gestione dei rapporti con i clienti alla rendicontazione delle vendite e la documentazione delle ricevute, alla gestione progettuale dei lavori dell’artista, oltre che alla curatela e allo stock management. Per quanto riguarda la gestione del sito web, dei canali social e delle newsletter, ho maturato esperienza sia attraverso le gallerie d’arte dove ho lavorato, che attraverso il mio attuale lavoro di Servizio Civile presso l’Ufficio Amministrativo del Sistema Museale di Ateneo dell’Università di Bologna, dove gestisco i canali web (il Servizio è momentaneamente sospeso, e quindi il lavoro viene svolto da remoto).

Infine, ho acquisito competenze di teamwork, di gestione di situazioni stressanti e di organizzazione anche grazie al lavoro svolto in numerosi ristoranti, hotel e pub che ho accompagnato allo studio e ai tirocini in tutti questi anni.

Desidero fare quest’esperienza come Junior EA poiché faccio parte di un collettivo insieme ad altri artisti e desideriamo poter creare il nostro progetto culturale, aprendo un centro in cui realizzare eventi, mostre, talk, residenze. Per fare ciò sono consapevole che devo maturare tutta l’esperienza possibile e questa opportunità come Junior EA sarebbe per me assolutamente essenziale.
