Is it really efficient to stop Americans from drinking?

The answer is NO Many Americans broke the prohibition right after

it was passed Gangsters were pretty much involved in

manufacturing and distributing illegal liquor.

The number of illegal speakeasies and nightclubs even rapidly grew since the prohibition was passed.

Prohibition was a positive thing. Even though it was a disaster it

helped by stopping the sale of alcohol. 88% of Americans consume
