Lamp Express USA Inc. proudly introducesthe new Scan-Spectrometer RS 800.

The RS 800 relies on the same ingeniousmeasurement principle as its sister model,the RS 400 Scan-Densitometer.

The compact measurement device is quicklyguided by hand over the entire print controlstrip. Tracking wheels on the bottom of thedevice guarantee a straight run. The mea-surement device features a high-resolution,high-precision spectral engine. During themeasurement process, this "spectropho-tometer on wheels" transmits measurementdata to a connected Windows PC. OurWindows-program ExPresso Pro clearlydisplays transmitted measurement data.

Since spectral measurement data istransmitted, it is also possible to analyzespecial colors. The spectral measurementprinciple calculates all significant qualitydata for process as well as spot colorssuch as density, dot gain and printingcontrast. Thanks to the ink-zone specificdisplay, printers can optimally fine-tune colorcontrol on printing presses for up to eight-colors.

A trend function supplies information onthe processing of a print job throughoutthe entire run. This lets you elaboratedetailed evaluation records upon terminationof a print job. This feature is especiallyuseful for ISO-certified companies who needto document printing quality.
