Experimenting with Foam Board and Layout

Here I was trying out using spray mount for the first time on scrap

pieces of paper to get a feel for it. I also used a craft knife board to

place what I was working with on. I worked outside because of the

fumes.

I took the A3 foam board and sprayed each section of it before carefully placing individual pieces of paper on it.

I carefully used a craft knife on this board with a metal ruler to cut out my pieces of text.

I measured out coloured pieces of paper and cut them out to replicate what my photographs would look like on the wall. I experimented with different layouts by moving

the paper around.

I spaced the replica photographs by doing 4cm and 2cm however I think it would look better if they were equally spaced out.

I then tried out all the texts that I had done on foam board to see which looked better

I found that this text worked best because it was the largest, it meant that it was clear. I also preferred it to a label on the side because this way its more coherent with the rest of the work.
