Premier Capital plc, the Maltese-owned developmental licencee for McDonald’s in sixEuropeanmarkets, has named newmanaging directors for its operations in Romania andMaltafromJuly1,2020.Paul Dragan, currentlyManagingDirector forMalta,will relocate to Bucharest to assumeleadershipoftheRomanianmarketwherethecompanyoperates85restaurantsnationwide.HesucceedsDanielBoajewhoisleavingthecompanyafterasuccessful23-yearcareerwithMcDonald’s in Romania. PeterHili, currently serving as Business Consultant for theMaltamarket,hasbeenpromotedtoManagingDirector.MrDragan,whomovedtoMaltain2018toleadthenine-restaurantnetworkontheislands,was previously Director of Operations in Romania since 2011. He began his career withMcDonald’sinRomaniain1995astraineemanager,andlaterbecomeRestaurantManager.He was appointed Business Consultant after five years, and later Operations Manager.Throughouthiscareer,MrDraganhasalsoworkedwithMcDonald’sintheUSandCanada.MrHili graduated from the University of Malta in 2016 with an Honours degree inInternationalRelations.AftersometimeonthestaffoftheEmbassyofMaltainWashingtonDCasaPolicyOfficer,herelocatedtoCanadaforaplacementwithMcDonald'sinOttawa.HewasappointedRestaurantManageratMcDonald'sBayStreetinMaltathefollowingyear.MrHili,theeldersonofPremierCapitalChairmanMeloHili,becameaBusinessConsultantforMaltain2019.“Theboardandmanagementteamareincrediblyproudofthenewmanagingdirectorsweare announcing today,”MeloHili said. “Both Paul and Peter are deeply passionate aboutMcDonald’s,theservicelevelswedelivertocustomers,andtheexperienceswithwhichweprovide our diverse talent pool.
