Emma Blanch U17 Girls - Walker of the YearThis season Emma again broke her own Centre and Ground record during Saturday competition. She went through the entire season undefeated winning both Zone and Region. Emma also holds both the U17G Zone and Region 1500m Walk records. This season she was going for her 8th State Medal in a row after winning her first in the U10's. Emma trains consistently and hard to achieve her goals and thoroughly deserves this award.
Georgia Portelli - U17G - Thrower of the YearWhile Georgia is a very talented Shot and Discus thrower her passion is the Javelin event. Georgia won Zone and Region this year and was favourite to take out the Gold at State this Year. Georgia travels great distance to Port Hacking to train many afternoon a week. She is a dedicated and committed athlete and is a worthy recipient of this award.
Izobelle Louison Roe - U13G - Jumper of the YearIzobelle is the youngest of our three award winners but a most deserving recipient. Izobelle is an amazing Jumper and has achieved outstanding results this year in Triple Jump, Long Jump and High Jump. At Zone Izobelle won GOLD in the three events breaking the Zone Record in the Triple Jump. At Region she won GOLD in the Triple Jump and High Jump and SILVER in the Long Jumper. A truly fantastic performer. Izobelle was to compete at State in all three Jumps hoping to defend her title she won the previous year.

Tammin Lampret 2019/20 Junior Athlete of the Year• Tammin has had another amazing year.
• at Zone - Tammin won GOLD in 100m, 200m and 80m Hurdles and SILVER in Long Jump, High Jump and Junior Girls Relay
• at Region she won GOLD in 100m and 80m Hurdles and SILVER in 200m and Long Jump and BRONZE in the Junior Girls Relay
• With the 80m Hurdles a new event Tammin now has the 80m Hurdles Record at both Zone and Region.
• Setting the Centre 80m Hurdles on the first week, Tammin broke this record 3 more times during centre competition.
• Tammin represented NSWLA at the Trans Tasmin Challenge and won GOLD in the 100m and 200m and SILVER in the Long Jump and Relay.
• Tammin was a member of 3 State Relay teams all winning medals. 12G 4x100m relay team that won GOLD, 12G Jumps team won SILVER and U12 4x400m Mixed that won BRONZE
• Tammin also won the centre multi.
• An amazing athlete Tammin has now won this award for the past 3 years in a row. Congratulations Tammin on an amazing year.

Jay has had an amazing season
at Zone - Jay won GOLD 100m, Triple Jump, Long Jump, 110m Hurdles and Relay and SILVER in 200m
at Region - he won GOLD 200m, Long Jump and Triple Jump, SILVER 100m, 110m Hurdles and Relay
Despite having won numerous State Individual Medals at Senior Athletics Jay had been training hard to win his first NSWLA Individual medal. Due to rain cancellation and injury over the past 2 years Jay has been unable to compete in his main events.
Jay was a member of the U17B 4x100m relay team that won BRONZE at State Relay
Jay also broke the 17B Long Jump Centre record this season
Thank you’sTo conclude we would like to acknowledge some important people involved in the running of our very successfully club. We had 465 members this year - the most we have had in recent years and 77 more than last season.
Thank you parents for bringing your kids to competitions and training each week and completing your fortnightly duty. The club cannot run without parent involvement and we acknowledge all our hard working parents.
To our amazing age managers thank you for your time and effort, supporting our athletes. Some age managers with very large groups turn up every week and it was so fantastic to see you all get involved in all the fun in our final week. I know we say it often but we are so fortunate to have the expertise and experience in our Port Hacking coaches
Finally to our hard working committee who are all volunteers and have full time jobs. So much work behind the scenes is completed by this group to organise the season. Please think about joining this team for next season. We would love to have some more hands on deck. With the current situation we expect the AGM to be postponed but please stay tuned for updates on the date and time of the AGM to elect the committee for the 2020/21 Season.
