Politicians in Washington, D.C., are considering H.R. 2339, a bill that would ban all avored traditional tobacco products—including menthol cigarettes; mint, wintergreen and other avored dip; and avored cigars. This bill targets an important part of your revenue— tobacco products make up approximately 34% of average in-store sales. Menthol cigarettes and avored cigars and dip are an important part of that category.
Tobacco retailers risk losing sales of tobacco products plus all of the other items that adult tobacco customers purchase.

If passed, this bill will take away your ability to sell many traditional tobacco
products to your adult customers, who also purchase gas, food, and other items on
which your store depends.
