FOOD PACKAGING PROJECT: FOR RWANDA The packaging was environmentally friendly, suitable to the food and the environment it should be eaten in. It is customary in Rwanda to give visitors a small token of food when they leave your house. This book explains how to cook plantain fritters (plantains are abundant in Rwanda), and serve them in the plantain skin: a perfectly sized, disposable, 100% biodegradable packaging.
