Every decision we made had to answer the question...Does this look like a high school?

Would you see this in a high school?

If so, then we made a different decision.

Innovation AtriumThis flexible space at the core of CAPS can be configured for presentations, charrettes, or everyday collaboration. The centerpiece is the wood-clad staircase, behind which is a café.

Forum spaces for presentations of learning and projects to class and community.

Transparency and openness between

strands, common spaces, and the

community.

The lines between work+play+learning

are blurred, so CAPS has a café to fuel the

casual creative collaboration

between students and adults.
