Demonstration

To transmit to the rest of society the patterns & practices that

have worked.

We envision an expanding network of communities, businesses, NGOs, media, educational institutions,

governments, foundations, writers, researchers,

educators, students, and citizen activists exchanging information and experiences

globally to enhance our individual and collective

capacity for living sustainably in community,

at the present and for future generations.

Humanity is not the last rung of the terrestrial

creation.Evolution

continues and man will be surpassed.

DamanhurDamanhur

Fundada en el 1975, la Federación de Damanhur es una eco-sociedad: una federación de comunidades y ecoaldeas con una estructura social y política propia, en continua evolución.

•Freedom & the awakening of the Human Self as a divine, spiritual &

material principle;

•the creation of a model of self-sufficient life based on ethical

principles of good communal life & love;

•the harmonious integration & cooperation with all the Forces connected with the evolution of

Humanity.

ZeggZeggThere are no ready recipes for

the building of new ways of living.

Too complex are the challenges of our time.

Besides the changes needed on the outer level like sustainable

technologies new circumstances must be created to support

inner growth.

We founded ZEGG in 1991 in order to bring these two aspects

of change together. What is it that the earth needs?

What is it that humans need?

LakabeLakabeLakabe is a life project that

has forged itself.

It has made a long journey to get to this point in which

it has managed to consolidate a community structure, with a secure material base from the

same community, which has not needed to send anyone

to work outside, which is self-sufficient in diverse areas & has always kept improving economically.

Criteria for Communities

Creating (& protecting) Fertile Connections

1. Practice the Art of Personal Presence. Embrace the tension of opposites and tolerate and encourage the abstract, the unexpected and the discomfort of expanded consciousness.

1. Practice Mudhita, the ageless Buddhist practice that is the other side of the coin of compassion. Identify with the joy, gifts, pleasures and awakenings of others. This is the art of vicarious joy that banishes cynicism & envy.

 • Make your communication mindful and compassionately

brief. Be appropriate, both on a one to one basis and with the whole group.

1.  Do not ‘triangulate’. If we have issues or conflicts we should clear them with the individual concerned & not report to others. This is all about cultivating a culture of direct communication rather than gossip.

1.  Practice punctuality. Time is limited. It demonstrates a respect for group process.

1.  Practice consensus by default, perhaps the most difficult ideal to achieve at all times.

1.  Practice Random Acts of Kindness
