  • 1. Paul Weller - You Do Something To MeThe very first shot is a shot where we see something moving, its only once the camera ispulled back that we see its a shot taken from a train. It then cuts away to a female drinking onthe train and its filmed using a hand held camera, this gives it a realistic effect. It cuts from thefemale to a train station where there is double shot, showing two young men standing theremessing around. Its filmed in a way so that it make it look like a amateur home video, as itkeeps cutting from different locations to different characters. There isnt a specific style in theediting as it looks very random, however it still makes it look very impressive with bold andcontrasting colours. Then it cuts to man wearing a white shirt running along a field with yellowflowers. This clearly symbolises freedom and happiness. We yet still cant make sure who themain artist is. He may not be in the video at all. A couple hugging each other with the flowerfield in the background is shown to us but its shot in a way so that it resembles a view from alens. The video has a very happy and joyful mood to it. The is no specific mise-en-scene and its very random, however we can say that summer has to do a lot with the theme. Paul Welleris a rock and punk rock artist, his music was inspired by The Beatles and The Who. Overall itsa very simple song and not too much editing skills has be used.
