MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
Best-selling author and spiritual innovator Thomas Moore draws deeply from Greek philosophy, literature and spirituality to craft an accurate and challenging yet accessible translation that, free of religious moralism and dogmatism, is beautifully imaginative and inspirational. He highlights the Gospels’ teachings on earthly—rather than otherworldly—living, in which community, compas-sion, inclusiveness, prayer and healing are key elements. Rich in both soul and spirit, this extraordinary translation and commentary is for people who want to nourish their spiritual lives with expansive inspiration rather than nar-row and negative interpretations.
A fresh and life-giving translationof the Gospels that reclaims them as a radically new way of imagining human life.• The first in a four-book series from
New York Times best-selling author Thomas Moore.
• For people of all spiritual and philosophical backgrounds.
• Blends scholarship and pastoral guidance in an accurate and challenging yet accessible and imaginative translation.
Thomas Moore is the best-selling author of Care of the Soul, which was on the New York Times best-seller list for forty-four weeks, as well as many other award-winning books on religion, spirituality and depth psychology. He has a PhD in religious studies from Syracuse University and is a depth psychotherapist and former monk. He lectures in many countries and continues to write about religion and the life of the soul, including for Spirituality & Health magazine and the Huffington Post.

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
Drawing on their professional and personal experiences as well as insights from psychology, neuroscience, theology and spirituality, George Faller and Rev. Heather Wright help readers understand and navigate stress in their lives with more authenticity. With up-to-date analysis, real-life exam-ples and spiritual practices, they explore the effects and benefits of stress and ways to honor its symptoms. They show readers that rather than being trapped in the limited perspective of distress, they can use stress as a catalyst for transformation in all areas of life, including in marriage, rela-tionships, parenting, sex, work, money and health.

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
Part introduction to Tantric traditions, part personal growth guide, this exploration of the Eternal Moon Phase Goddesses introduces readers to the Goddess Akhilandeshwari, whose name means “She Who Is Never Not Broken.” Through her, readers will learn about the secret empowerment of feeling totally bro-ken down, because that is the moment they get to choose how to put themselves back together. With her and the Eternal Moon Phase Goddesses, readers will explore the spirituality of desire, the vulnerability of intimacy, the possibilities of healing from trauma within intimate relationships, the anxiety of instinct and more.

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
People play two kinds of “games.” In finite zero-sum games, like football, the goal is to defeat your oppo-nent within the fixed timeframe of the game. In infinite nonzero games, such as a loving friendship, the goal is to keep the game going by continually enhancing the status of all players so they will want to continue the game. In finite games, there are clear winners and los-ers; in infinite games—the most important games of life, relationships—everybody wins. This book is for people who want to play more infinite games and it presents the Golden Rule as the ultimate strategy for playing well.
One thing almost everyone shares is a passion for the Golden Rule. Another thing almost everyone shares is a tendency to ignore it.• Invites readers into the fascinating
world of ethical decision making and compassionate cooperation.
• Written for people of all faiths or none who praise the Golden Rule and yet violate it over and over again.
• Looks critically at the Rule in the con-text of game theory to see where it works and where it doesn’t, when it is applicable and when it isn’t.
“ Brilliantly clear, easy to read, well-informed in relevant science, philosophy and religion ... a real contribution to our understanding of the Golden Rule.”

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
Everyone has experienced losses that profoundly shape them, changing how they see themselves and the world around them—from the death of a beloved family mem-ber to losing a job, home, friendship or physical or mental abilities. It is essential to heal and move forward—but also to honor what has been lost.
“ As an expression of the soul, grief has its own purposes and timing.... You can let grief work for you by responding to it imaginatively.... Grief may feel overwhelming, but that is only because it is time for you to expand your heart and make it capable of far more love and connection. In this way, grief is a pathway to a more soul-centered life.“

Order InformationBookseller Support ProgramWe recognize our responsibility to help you, the bookseller, sell our books. While we do detailed marketing for each new book, we want you to know that we also have an ongoing national ad/PR program for each backlist book that includes print, radio and TV appearances targeted at a broad range of specific audiences—Christian, Jewish, recovery, New Age, spiritual seeker, student, professional and general.
Desk and Examination Copy PolicyCollege and university instructors are entitled to one complimentary desk copy of a book adopted for course use. Desk copy requests must be submitted in writing on departmental let-terhead and include course title, instructor’s name, course number, approximate enrollment and semester or quarter taught.
Upon request, we email review copies of books in PDF format for course adoption con-sideration. We believe that our prices for books suitable for course adoption are reasonable; therefore, we do not provide complimentary paper review copies. However, if a book is pur-chased from SkyLight Paths Publishing and then adopted for a course, upon request we will refund the full purchase price.
