Mass Intentions
Oh woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you
wish.” Matthew 15:28
My Dear Family of Our Lady of Lourdes,
Back to School!
Our teachers and staff have already been here on campus preparing for
the new school year and setting up their classrooms. The air is full of
excitement and anticipation. Our new students and their families can
count on us to embrace them and help them quickly become part of
this beautiful and spirit-filled family.
As always, there is something new for us this year. Over the summer
we have greatly upgraded and expanded our internet capabilities in the
school and throughout the entire campus. We are well positioned to
take full advantage of the advances in digital tools for teaching,
learning, and investigation that are ever more abundant.
The mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School is to provide solid
Christian education and formation for all who desire it. An active
parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes who would like to send their
children to the parish school should never hesitate over financial
concerns. While it is true that full tuition must be covered by every
first-year family, financial aid is available for active Catholic families
in need of assistance in the years ahead. Our school is here for you
and we are committed to serving all our children.
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School is about to begin its year but so
too is Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School - as well as most of
our local elementary schools, high schools, and universities. Let us
wish all our students well and keep them in our prayers as they take
this new step in their quest to discover truth and to understand who we
are and the world we live in. Let us pray that not only may they
discover truth and understanding but that they might have the courage
to do what they discover must be done once they discover it, in their
own lives and in our life as a human family.
Finally let us return to the teachers and staff that make all this magic
happen. They too need our prayers and support. It is one thing to be
responsible for oneself. It is another all together to take responsibility
to help another “become”. May our teachers and staff find blessings
in their willingness to give of themselves for the sake of our youth and
find life for themselves even as they breathe life into others.
Congratulations to all and blessings for the new year!

The Bible examines our Catholic faith. Not just simply looking at the basic teaching of the Church as to their meaning and origin, but by investigating the deeper mysteries contained and illuminated by Scripture.
In this study, you will learn about the major people, places, events and themes of the Bi-ble, helping you to have a better understanding.
We will be examining Galatians. This letter will be wonderful to study so we can examine closely St. Paul’s teaching. We can find that this letter speaks to the heart of what mat-ters to most of us in the 21st Century.
