About 2/3 of the students got ghost blaster scores

between 16 and 35 points.

The outliers are -35, -9, and 51.

In the histogram there is a big gap between -24 and

-15.

A lot of the data clusters between 29 and 41 points.

PERIOD 2 “TYPICAL” SCORE OF GHOST BLASTERS

I think the “typical” student score for ghost blasters in Mrs. Lays Period 2 class is about 20 points. I think that because the mean and median are very close to 20 points if not exactly 20 points. Also the clusters in the line plot are around the 20 mark. Finally the mode is 17 / 28 which, considering all the numbers, is really

close to 20.

CONCLUSION TO…

“WHO’S FASTER, GIRLS OR GUYS?”

In the end the gender that came out on top was the

guys. I believe this because if you take a look at the

line plot the boys mean and median are at a bigger

point then the girls mean and median.

Also the data for the guys was pretty close

together. But for the girls it was somewhat far apart.

Which means the guys were more consistent with

there scores then the girls were. Collection 1
