COMPANY PRESENTATION
NISSAL - NEWMET
History
Nissal-Newmet company was founded in Nis in 1955. It was
originaly part of Copper Mill “Sevojno” but after moving the rolling
mill to another location it was separated into an industrial enterprise
for the processing and production of non-ferrous metals called
“Moravka. Soon the factory name was changed into “Đuro Salaj”
and later to “Nissal”.
At the moment of establishment, the factory had 132 workers
and one old 400 tones press. Over the next twenty years it
developed into a producer with more than 2000 employees.
Today, complex of Nissal`s building and industrial facilities is
located on 12ha.
Production consists of five main production units: Extrusion
plant, Drawing plant, Surface protection, Machining & Accessories
and Foundry.
Company has 338 employees, producing around 4500 MT of
aluminium bars and 2000 MT profiles, with 85% of its production
being sold in EU, Middle East and Far East.
Company Nissal Newmet d.o.o. Nis was founded 2013. Founder
of company Nissal-Newmet is Nissal d.o.o. with 100% ownership.
From April 2016, company Newmet International AG from
Switzerland is 100% owner of NISSAL d.o.o.1
Message from the owner
Nissal Newmet has been present in the aluminium
extrusion market for more than 6 decades with continuous
supply of our products throughout Europe, Russia, Middle
East and Far East. It is a recognizable brand associated
with good quality products, resulting from a strong
employee knowledge base and experience. The plant has
an enviable infrastructure comprising foundry, extrusion
and drawing plant, modern anodizing and powder coating
equipment as well as machining plant, making it a rare all
round production facility of its kind.
Our goal for the future is to stabilize the dominant
position in the domestic market and become an
unavoidable factor in the region. Furthermore, we wish
increase our presence by significantly increasing our
capacity through introduction of new modern equipment
thereby utilizing incredible economies of scale possibilities.
Recent success and developments were a result of a
clear focus on client service approach, allowing us to move
forward with the implementation of our plans together with
our partners.

FOUNDRY

• The production is carried out in the induction furnaces for melting and casting as well as with the furnaces for homogenized annealing

metal according to submitted technical
drawing, guaranteeing quality and prompt
delivery.

Processing on CNC processing center FOM
"FLEN". It is possible to quickly and
precisely process parts according to
submitted drawings.
