Assessment 1: Wetting limits Spray application of an increasing film thickness (wedge) on coil coated Al panels, measurement of the lowest film thickness when the substrate is completely wetted Assessment 2: Wetting behavior on pretreated PE-foil Spiral coater application on pretreated PE-foil (solution of a release agent), assessment of wetting defects after film drying
Anti-cratering Post contamination of the formulations with mod. PDMS, spiral coater application on PE-foil, judgment of craters after film drying
Leveling Automatic spray application on coil coated Al panels, dry film thickness at 30-35µm, measurement of w-values as well as LW/SW with wave-scan DOI
