Robby RennerNDA: Please give us a little background on yourself.
My name is Robby Renner, from Mulberry, Florida, 23 years old. Got started racing bikes at 4 years old at Dade City. Basically I
grew up ready to race. My dad used to race and quit just before i started. Both of my brothers raced, so I had no choice, haha. its in the blood!
NDA: Being a big part of Enjoy MFG, whos your favorite rider to work with? My favorite rider. Man thats a tough one for me. Every rider we have here at enjoy is consid-ered family to me. Im pretty good buddies with all of our riders, and I dont know if I could pick one over the other. But if you are going to make me pick just one, Ill make my mom happy and say my brother Ricky. ..or maybe Ronnie. ahh heck, see I cant pick just one!
NDA: Bouncing back from injury is never easy, whats the biggest obstacle that you had to face?
T he biggest obstacle for me was to not get back on the bike too soon. Obviously I love riding bikes so even when I wasnt able to ride I was at the track. When Im at the track all I wanted to do was get on a bike and just rip laps. so I always had to tell myself that I wasnt ready and had to wait. and the longer you wait the harder it is to keep telling yourself that you arent ready. It gets frustrating after a while to be honest.
NDA: What is motocross to you?
Motocross. well motocross is me. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love to ride, and how much I care about this sport. I mean my life literally revolves around this sport. I wake up everyday and do something that involves dirtbikes. Whether its get up and go to work where I build graphics for dirt bikes or go ride one. motocross is just below family and just above food for me.
NDA: Whats the meaning behind the number 153?
153 doesn’t have much meaning behind it. My dad ran 53 so my oldest brother Ronnie chose 153. Ricky took 53 after pops so I took 153 after Ronnie. Could explain why secretly hes my hero haha.
NDA: In the end, sponsors are what keep things going, who would you like to recognize?
First off, my mom dad brother Ricky his wife Leah and my brother Ronnie. wouldnt be where I am without them. also got to give a thanks to EnjoyMFG, 1onwon MX, Loose pro-gram, Renner Racing, Fuel Clothing, Active Ride Suspension, Engine Ice, Scott USA, NDA, ICW Bike stands, Asterisk Knee Braces, Vortex, Fly Racing, TCX Boots, Motofinder App, The Entire Chisholm and Swenson families. And anyone else that has supported me over the years!

cole bradford
First met Cole and Family out at, what was once known as East Bay Supercross, now Tampa MX, I kept my eye on him. Lat-er I4MX had an interview session for the Banquette video and I got to spend a little more time with him. Cole had granted me a goon session for my camera, and from that day forward, I not only saw Cole to be a talented rider, but a rider that has fun and enjoys the sport to the max. Always see him with a smile, and when the ride is over, he simply turns off race mode, meets up with fellow riders to play catch, frisby or just fool around. A well rounded young man that we
are happy to have on board.

For being relatively new to the Florida MX track scene, Tampa MX is growing quick-ly. Owners, Mike Floyd and Ronnie Monk have been putting every effort forward to make the track successful, fun, and just a great experience for their visitors. In the be-ginning there was a ton of excitement, but soon it was easy to see that the duo would have to extend them selves further than ever before. Mike Floyd, owner of FLMX Mag-

azine and Ronnie Monk, owner of Six12 Suspension have been putting in the hours, reworking the budget, “think tanking” till the early morning, scheduling top rid-ers for events and training, scheduling staff and track maintenance, and trying to find time for friends and loved ones....its no easy task, but they manage it well. Thankful-ly they also have a great staff that helps give the track its unique qualities as well. Matt does a fantastic job with the track and layout. And Vicki is always smiling in the office.

Up late nights and during lunch breaks she edits and uploads photos for every event she covers...for free. MX vs ATV Supercross is the latest installment of the MVA Se-ries. Nortic Games along with Rainbow Studios, managed to keep the series alive after THQ folded up and went bankrupt. Fans everywhere have been anticipating the MVA Supercross release since it was first announced early 2014. Delivering 17 supercross style tracks, MX and ATV vehicles ranging from 125cc to the 650. A long list of Pro riders and a few new sponsors, the game shipped October 28th for $29.99, and is available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Although the response to the new title has been mixed, I am enjoying it more and more. Initially I did not care for the changes made to the controls, nor was I happy with the overall scale of the tracks....I felt they were heading in the right direction with MVA Alive. And it seems this iteration of the franchise has gone backwards. Now dont get me wrong the visuals, sound, and interface are great. But where the game fall short for me is in the physics and controls.
After hours of trying to learn how the new game played I realized that it felt a lot like MVA Untamed, and the reason I was having such a hard time with the game is that I was playing it like it was Reflex or Alive....and that, simply, is not the case. Although you are given the impres-sion that you have separate bike and rider controls similar to Reflex and Alive, it just doesnt function that way, and I believe the reason is the brought back function of the rebound “flick”. In fact, since Ive been treating MVA Supercross as if it were Untamed 2, Ive actually enjoyed the game a lot more. I was fighting the controls way to much, and when I switched to controller preset 4, the game became fun.
41NDA ACTIONS SPORT BOOK Five
Preset 4 will assign the steering and rider reflex (left and right) to the left analog stick, and the rider reflex (forward and back) to the right analog stick, allowing you to preload without accidentally steering the bike out of control. This makes for better control and less mistakes.
If there were one thing I would like to see changed in the series, it would be the leveling system...its painful, and fluff that is not wanted or needed and I personally think it hurts the franchise much more than it will ever help. Instead giving the user control over the physics will be far more useful and beneficial to the player as they could tailor the game to the way they play, such as setup option for controller and bike tweaks like suspension, power curve control and braking.

Now on a more positive note, I think the rider customization is great. They have a great selection of gear, and I expect that the collection will update and grow over time via the MotoDepot, or DLC.
This being the main role in the business model for the MVA Fran-chise, The Moto Depot will deliver bikes, tracks and gear. As of this article they only had a few bikes available, but I suspect that this will change relatively soon. I have no problem with this business model as it provides a great game for a lot less to start, and you can choose to purchase more content for the game over time.

Im going to leave my thoughts of the online experience out for now. It seems that they are having major issues with multiplayer and everyone is waiting for a patch or update to fix it....only time will tell.
Over all I really do enjoy the game for what it is...an arcade style, supercross themed, video game. I really like the clutch boost, and the preload system, although a bit cumbersome at times, its vital to main-tain a great flow on the track. And when the online function is working its a lot of fun racing with fellow gamers. It does lack overall presenta-tion compared to Reflex, but as a core game, it gets the job done. Its well worth the 30 dollar price tag.

Mike Alessi made an appearance at the Tampa MX Facility for a Saturday “Hole Shot Clinic” and Sunday Race. He spent a great deal of time with the young riders that showed up at the Top Gun Challenge race, He walked the track to point out lines, was on the gate to help prep for a start, and conversations with a young rider about Birthdays, Christmas and family. Put all the media hype aside and you will find a very solid and compassionate rider.
