Cold Water Sandwich Effect
Cold water sandwich effect:
Cold water sandwich effect comes from during frequent ON/OFF operation of a tankless water heater. It comes from basic tankless water heater operating principles. Typically when tankless water heater starts from city water temperature to setting temperature, it will take time about 15 ~25 second. This performance creates cold water sandwich.
Navien residential and commercial with optional buffer tank will minimize cold water sandwich.
