Erasmus+, a success story of the Moldova-EU
Mobility Partnership
On June 12, 2018, within the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration
(MFAEI) premises was held an extended
meeting of the Moldova-EU Mobility
Partnership Local Cooperation Platform,
dedicated this year to the 10 years of
implementation of the Mobility
Partnership with the EU.
At the event have been invited projects
that are considered successful in
implementing the Mobility Partnership.
NEO Moldova delivered a presentation
during the event.
The event has been co-chaired by the
State Secretary of the MFAEI Daniela
Morari and the Head of the European
Union’s Delegation to the Republic of
Moldova Peter Michalko.

Perspectives of collaboration between the
Republic of Moldova and the French Republic
within the Erasmus+ have been discussed on
the occasion of the visit held at the NEO
Moldova premises by the HE Pascal Le Deunff,
the French Ambassador to the Republic of
Moldova.
The NEO Moldova coordinator, Claudia Melinte,
has held a meeting with the representative of
the Embassy of Finland to Romania and
Moldova, Mr. Marcu Dragos, in order to discuss
opportunities of collaboration within the
Erasmus+ Programme. The sides agreed to
support and encourage new projects with
Moldovan and Finnish participation.
Promoting the Erasmus+ Programme through diplomatic channels
As a practice of working closely with the
national institutions, following the
Moldova-EU Mobility Partnership Local
Platform event and in the context of the
discussions occurred concerning the
implementation of the Erasmus+ EU
Program in Moldova, the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration
(MFAEI) has settled a working session at
the rank of state secretary with the
participation of the line institutions’
representatives (MFAEI, Ministry of
Education, Culture and Research, Ministry
of Finance, and State`s Chancellery, and
NEO).
At the meeting, have been discussed
technical aspects which can contribute to
mobility projects’ improvement in the
advantage of the Moldovan students, as
well the national policies that can
facilitate the implementation
environment for the CBHE projects in
Moldovan universities.

B2B EVENTS: Outreach for Erasmus+ Programme
In the frame of the Europe Days celebration
in Moldova, the National Erasmus+ Office
has participated in the outreaching events
organised by the EU Delegation to the
Republic of Moldova.
The National Erasmus+ Office team has
informed the European Village’s 2018
visitors, established in Chisinau’s Public
Garden Stefan cel Mare about the
opportunities offered by the EU Programme
for Education, Training, Youth and Sport,
Erasmus+.
Also, as part of the EU Delegation efforts to
promote the EU and its common values
among the Moldovan citizens, NEO has
joined the European Film and Culture
Festival in Soroca and Tiraspol cities and
organised informational events in Anenii-
Noi and Strășeni districts.
Cluster meeting in the field of University libraries
The necessity to discuss the experiences &
further opportunities of Moldovan
university libraries in the Erasmus+
Programme emerged during the monitoring
sessions held before at the two Capacity
Building projects (561633 MISISQ and
543929 LNSS).
The participants at the event, have shared
their experience of participation in the
Erasmus+ and other international projects
in the field of library modernization. As
well, during the event have been discussed
the possibilities of accessing new
Erasmus+ projects with the involvement of
Moldovan university libraries.
The NEO Moldova, has presented during the
event the Erasmus+ Project Results
Platform – a source of learning and
inspiration for the future projects that
could be implemented in Moldova.
March 1st - working meeting with the participation of the international
relations departments’ representatives from universities, involved in the EU
Programme Erasmus+ in the Republic of Moldova.
Discussed subjecs: HEIs in the absorbing and managing the opportunities
offered by the Erasmus+ as well as the aspects linked to the difficulties faced
during the implementation of the projects.
The event was attended by the deputy chief of the Analytical, Monitoring and
Policy Evaluation Direction of Ministry of Education, Culture and Research,
Ludmila Pavlov.

Media about us NEO Moldova has a strong collaboration with media representatives for
a widely press coverage of the subjects related to the implementation
of the Erasmus+ Programme in Moldova. NEO representatives are
participating at diferent TV talk shows and radio broadcasts on the
Erasmus+ issues. As well, we offer support for media in selecting for
their press materials beneficiary of ICM, CBHE and Jean Monnet
projects, in order to efficiently disseminate the Erasmus+ projects’
results.
