WELLNESS AND PREVENTION

• Connects to clinical preventive services by geo-locator + map widget - provides phone #, office hours, credentials + expertise, etc.

• Icon indicates exactly what services are covered by Accountable Care Act

• Icon indicates if module is available on audio channel

• “Get Tested” screen is personalized checklist with clear targeted time frame, links to info pages, and possibly “In App” Rewards (such as apple icons or free services)

• “How To Stay Healthy On the Go” is source of wellness information and tips

• Try to nudge behavior change with rewards or incentives

• We make healthcare a team sport with emphasis on collaboration, sharing + communication

• Forge new social interactions with groups, health teams, games

• Focus on how to wedge discrete recurring tasks between other daily activities

• Incorporates input from HealthTechHatch - Also 2+ years of iterating in this space

• 5/5 want information specifically targeted to their needs - “If the app returns information that doe not fully consider my details, I will feel that I wasted my time.” y.r.

• 4/5 would not use E-cards - “I don’t want to be bombarded with information not relevant to me or my family.” p.s.

• 5/5 want to personalize their app - “I want apps that provide me lots of features that integrate with the rest of my life.” k.j.

USABILITY

• Home screen = simple, familiar, engaging, personal

• Features are comprehensive - puts all this stuff in your pocket and is way easier to use than what’s out there now

• Navigation is crisp, intuitive, tapable, best practices

• Sort of like 3 apps in one - WebMD, Linkedin, DropBox

• Links to networking sites, web pages, team members, electronic health information, loved ones and their healthcare connections

• Does what website does only better, quicker, easier, more personal - anywhere, anytime, on any mobile device

• Compelling reason to use is because it makes your life better

FUNCTIONALITY

• Prototype on iOS platform - later Android, Spanish version

• Native application development allows greater speed, early adoption, built-in functionality, marketing platform

• iOS built-in functions include voice recognition, endless scrolling, integrated dictionary, auto-correction, passcode lock, encryption, geolocation, email/copy/print, push notifications, handicap accessibility, international formats, etc.

• Log in keeps information private and secure, but also enables user to create multiple accounts on same device (perfect for families, health workers, providers, etc.)

• Universal access - user or their designate can log in anywhere, anytime, on any device regardless of health system to which they belong - no silos, no proprietary software

• Features - action links, audio capability, tracking, notifications, emergency contacts, direct messaging, file sharing, health log, health team integration

• App has look + feel of Healthfinder.gov website - how users experience it will be consistent across all devices

• Platform infrastructure enables developers to create special content and features with mobile in mind

• Our unique benefit = making it easy to distribute healthcare information cheaply and targeted to end-user

• Brand is our top asset and must earn trust of our users

• Define our user base? Is it overall market or segments of it that have the greatest unmet need (such as chronically ill, aging parents, busy families, underserved population, etc.)

• Look and feel suggests “health tech with heart” - easy access, comfort level, pleasure to use, better than other websites

• Each user gets very own personalized Healthfinder app which never is seen by government or non-team members.

• This app provides an infrastructure for future development and can sync with electronic health records and standalone apps.

• Outreach programs with enterprise partners, professional societies, ACOs, government agencies, NCOs, etc.
