Fall, my favorite season, although this year I'm not quite sure if it's come or gone yet! With all the rain it seems as if spring continued far too long and we only got a glimpse of fall. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that winter doesn't come soon!
I'm sure a lot of you have noticed the fall bundles around our beautiful community, I love being a part of this committee in decorating and jump-starting all of us into the end of the year's festivities. We are all so blessed to be a part of a community that takes pride in providing opportunities for all of us to come together, with the abundance of events and activities we have at our fingertips! I say this time and time again, year after year that I am so happy our family moved here and started our businesses in this great community. Myself, my husband and our 3 kids have never felt more apart of a community and it's all because we made the decision to jump in with both hands and feet and get connected! No one can make this decision for you or put your hands and feet to action except for you! The blessings our businesses have received as well as the friendships we've made are overwhelming
and could never be replaced or taken for granted....I wish the same for all of you!
The New Business Welcoming Committee is an example of blessings to our business because just the simplicity of our Elevate Builders coffee mug being included in the basket that we give to new businesses, was seen by an employee of that new business and reached out to build a home with us! Now that was cool! If only we could all understand that every "little thing" is a "big thing", I believe we would all succeed just a little bit more in every aspect of life!
One of my favorite things to do on any given day is to pop in to our Victory Lane oil shop and car wash and surprise a few people in line with a free car wash, the looks on their faces are priceless, you'd be amazed at how far that "little thing" becomes a "big thing" to our customers!
Our choice to run our businesses in these ways for our community will never change. The small-town feel of making people and our customers feel appreciated along with having a personal connection is our #1 priority!
As these next few months are filled with events, festivities, friends and family be mindful in your businesses and relationships to make it personal and to truly show gratitude to those we come in contact with. Maybe do something different and give of your time and be part of 1 or 2 of the many committees/events that are available to us to start making those personal connections and getting involved. Fall Bundle Clean Up, New Business Welcoming, Business Before/After, Winter Blast, Chamber Gala and the list goes on. You'll never regret joining in!
Thank you from our family and businesses for providing us a place to plant our roots deep and make connections with so many wonderful people, you all make it possible!
