Conventional Motor TechnologyConventional Motor Technology
• Motors operate on alternating (push/pull) electromagnetic fields
• A magnet picks up fewer nails when iron is used as a transmission path
• The iron rotor in a conventional motor resists magnetic flux transmission

Magnetronic Motor TechnologyMagnetronic Motor TechnologyMagnetronic Coil Windings
The simple Magnetronic Coil (Normally encased in plastic)
• Magnetronic coil windings are less complex than conventional coil windings
• Simpler coils:– Easier to repair– Less likely to need repairs– Stronger magnetic fields– Lower cost
Conventional Coil Windings
Conventional windings are extremely complex

Magnetronic Motor TechnologyMagnetronic Motor Technology
• The cool-running coils are encapsulated in plastic
• Heavy iron is not used to transmit the flux
• Each coil pushes against 4 magnets (2 per side)
• With 48 coils, the failure of a coil reduces power by only 1/48th of the total

The Magnetronic MotorThe Magnetronic Motor
This Magnetronic Motor has 5 stator/rotor sections. The Magnetronic Motor design is very flexible and can be designed with any number of stator/rotor sections. Each section can be designed with as few or as many coils and magnets as are needed.

Magnetronic Motor AdvantagesMagnetronic Motor Advantages
• Cooler operation higher efficiency (heat = waste)
• Smaller with higher power to weight ratios
• Modular design = highly fault tolerant (Broken wires no longer mean weeks in the shop)
• Much lower starting power (conventional motors dim the lights in the room during startup)
