Ibiza offers the ideal facilities to hold conferences. It has an exhibition centre with large capacity inaddition to a recently inaugurated Conferences Centre in Santa Eulària.Not to mention various hotels which offer fully-equipped rooms in which to hold events.

The Exhibition Centre is the idealvenue for numerous events that areheld throughout the year. It issituated less than ten minutesí drivefrom the airport with direct accessvia main roads and only 500m fromthe urban zone of Ibiza town.

It was specially designed to hold over1600 persons and serve as the idealvenue to hold all kinds of meetings,trade fairs, conferences, exhibitionsand other examples of socio-economic and cultural festivals, aswell as concerts and parties.

The Exhibition Centre consists of awell-lit 3400 m2 building and a 1750m2 marquee. It is equipped with thevery latest light and sound facilitiesas well as a modular stage and aconference room with the capacityto hold up to 150 persons.

FAIRS AND CONFERENCES IN IBIZA

Stage:As a complement to these spaces,the Exhibition Centre has a modularstage measuring 280 m2 based on 2x 1m platforms with an aluminiumframe and panels made of waterproofmarine board. It can be erected toa maximum height of 2m.

The Exhibition Centre FECOEF alsoboasts a magnificent lighting system(60.000 Watts) and sound system(10.000 Watts), adjustable and/orextensible according to the technicalrequirements of each event. Inaddition, it offers an ADSL WIFIsystem with coverage throughout theentire Exhibition Centre.

Ibiza auditorium-conferencecentre represents the island in itsentirety. The hall forms its ownexhibition centre-as is clear at firstsight. The cultural centre, which isdivided into multiple spaces, leadsoff from this. This new interior andexterior landscape aims to be bothreflect the islandís climate and payhomage to the courtyards of thehouses and churches which socharacterize its architecture.The building creates a place of itsown amid the landscape. Itís a placewhich confers on it a unique characterand enables the establishment ofvisual filters with the closest built-up environment.The centre is divided in two in orderto take advantage of the morphologyof the plot: the rectangular andCartesian space is occupied in itstotality by the Conferences Centreand the Auditorium in order to locatethe Cultural Centre more freely in itssituation among the trees and curvesof the different levels.

THE CULTURAL CENTREFIRST PHASE-FINISHEDThe exhibition space is used to as adistribution point towards the set ofrooms. The retracted volume of thebuilding answers the numbering ofthe set of meeting spaces and thesystemization of a method to trapexterior light: two spaces house themulti-use rooms in their interior anda third one contains the double heightassembly hall with a capacity of 437seats. The restaurant is sited on theaccess floor, a large space connectedwith the Conferences Centre whichcan be divided into three diningrooms.

Designed with different uses in mind,the group of rooms is intended to bea transformable and versatile spacecompatible with cultural use and withthe different lecture rooms sonecessary for a conference event.
