My name is Kristin Bundy and I am excited to be a 7th grade ELA teacher at New Mark this year!! I look forward to getting to know all of my students and their families throughout the 2017-2018 school year. Even though this is only my third year at New Mark Middle School, I have been with North Kansas City Schools for 15 years. Throughout my teaching career I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, 3rd, and 5th grade. I am looking forward to a great year!!

My EducationIn December of 2002 I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary and middle school education. After teaching for a few years I went back to school to earn my Master’s degree in teacher leadership. In May of 2008 I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with my Master’s degree. Go Bearcats!!

Personal InfoI grew up in a small town in southern Iowa and lived in the same house until I left for college. After graduating from college my husband, Kyle, and I made Kansas City our home. We now live in what I call our “forever” home with our eleven year old miniature schnauzer named Lucy. Kyle and I just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary this past June. We love playing golf, completing house projects, and spending time with our five nephews and two nieces.
