HIstory of Serbian peoples

Serbs are descended from South Slavs.Old Slavs lived in the area of Ukraine and Russia.

Serbs at the beginning of 7th century moved to the Balkan in agreement with the Byzantine emperor Heraclius. Serbian countries are: Raška-Serbia, Zahumlje, Pagania, Travunia and Zeta.

PRESENT-DAY SLAVS PEOPLE ARE CLASSIFIED INTO:

West Slavs

 South Slavs

 East Slavs

THE RULERS

Prince Vlastimir became independent Serbia of Byzantine 9th mid-century.Prince Časlav Klonimirović freed Serbia of of Bulgarians and he died in the fight against the Hungarians about 950. years.

Prince of Duklja Vojislav in uprisings in 1035. and 1042. year freed Duklja (Serbia) of the Byzantine.Prince Mihailo in 1077 he received from the Pope the royal crown. At the end of 11 century Duklja collapsed on: Raška-Serbia, Zahumlje,Travunia and Bosnia.
