BuildingTrailTheOHTcontinuestogrow.Ken’sKrew,sponsoredbytheOzarkSociety,builtarerouterequiredbytheNationalParkServicealongasegmentoftrailnearLittleRockyCreekattheendofMay.TrailPatriarch,KenSmith,visitedthegroupandprovided“guidance.”ThisrerouteshouldcompletetheOHT/BRTfromWollumtoDillard’sFerry.OnApril24th,agroupwentoutanddidtrailworkalongLakeNorforkwiththeOzarkKeystoneTrailFoundation(formerlyDavid’sTrail)tomakeprogresstowardextendingtheOHTNorthtotheMissouriBorder.

Ifyoumissedoutandwishedyouhadjoinedus,keepaneyeonfutureBulletinsbeginningthisfall.Asalways,it’sjusttoohotandbuggyinthesummerhereinArkansas,sowetakethesummersoff.

BoardElectionWewillbeconductingourannualboardelectioninMayonline.Memberswillreceiveanemailwithdirectionsonhowtovote.JamesHodgesandWadeColwellarebothrunningforre-electiontothree-yeartermsontheBoard.Noothermembersexpressedaninterestinserving.Ihopethischangesinthefuture.Freshbloodisvitaltokeepinganorganizationafloat.Weneedyourinput.
