First Step
Mapping and Tagging the Electrical Distribution Systems
Provides a geographical and electrically accurate map of the electrical system.
Allows for safe and reliable switching of the high voltage system, minimizing outage impacts and restoration times.
Upon contract execution - allows Georgia Power to add the electrical system to the system maps maintained by Georgia Power’s Control Center.
Second Step System Evaluation and Capital Improvements
- Safety or Code issues that need to be addressed prior to a maintenance agreement.
- Allows Georgia Power personnel to respond safely.- May require additional training for GPC personnel.
Third Step TMR Agreement
- Provides single point of contact for electrical outages. - Access to GPC stocked materials at various locations across
the State.- Pro-active maintenance and repairs to reduce unplanned
