冲 击 力 画 家 用 独 特 的 方 式 呈 现 给 我 们 的 艺 术 空 间 ，

好 像 色 彩 在 时 空 流 淌 ， 带 着 力 量 ， 迸 发 ， 激 荡 … …

马 克 生 于 4 0 年 代 末 ， 从 小 习 画 ， 1 4 岁 开 始 做 油 画 创 作 。

青年时期的马克钟爱哲学和电影艺术，曾开设自己的影视公司，在

非洲和法国发展自己的事业，这跟马克的艺术创作并不矛盾，这些都丰富

了马克的创作经历，并在绘画方面带给马克新的创作灵感。

当代艺术体现求新求变的创造力， 讲求“独创”。马克一直按照自己

的兴趣进行创作，他并没有想成为凡高第二或者其他人的继承者，他在自

己的领域默默耕坛，坚持自己的风格。

马克说不是我在做画，是一种本能，有些东西需要通过我来传递。我

只是使者，尝试这去理解这种原动力 。马克的绘画不是为了取悦，而是一

种需要，是寻觅，是交流，是沟通，诉求，是理解，是本能的迸发 。

到90年代，马克才逐渐被人关注，并最终促成马克专注于纯艺术领

域。

中国传统绘画讲究神似，追求自在的精神，马克的作品在这方面跟遥远东方的文化不某而和，处处体现出一种的

气势磅礴的抽象写意。而作为一个国际艺术家，一个周游过世界，受到过多种不同的文化洗礼，马克却感觉在中国的

传统文化里找到了归宿。

马克被这个东方的国度所吸引。地大物博，欣欣向荣，马克说，传说中的东方, 这里充满生机与活力，改革开放

带来的不仅仅是在经济领域上让世人瞩目， 同样体现在艺术创造领域。

半个世纪的游历，马克在艺术的领域上下求索，虽然马克的作品已获

得普遍认可，但也许中国人更能理解马克抽象风景的写意，也许穿越东西

文化，这里才有马克的真正的艺术知己。 似曾相识却无迹可寻, 马克的

作品象一个个乐章，无声的乐章，无声却澎湃激荡，无言却具有强大的力

量。

淋漓的挥洒，流淌的写意，让我们走进马克的世界。激情与澎湃，马

克风景系列无言的魅力。

现在的马克在北京和天津都有了自己的工作室，他和夫人蒂妮在宋庄安了个家，两人时常往返于巴黎北京。马克

还把中国的艺术家朋友介绍到法国，并邀请他们来他法国的工作室进行创作。

马克的夫人蒂妮也是杰出的女艺术家，在马克的 鼓励下，超越传统绘画对技术的专注，形成自己的艺术风格。不

同于马克，蒂妮关注的是人，人们的面部表情，喜怒哀乐在这里化做色彩缤纷呈现。

Marc Baufrère is born in Paris in 1948.

Very young he discovers oil paint and since then explores what has never ceased to fascinate him.

From that moment on he has been painting without interruption.

After a university degree in philosophy and cinematography, he works as a ÿlmdirector in France

and in Africa. His work as a ÿlmmaker leads him to create the national television in Benin in 1979-1980.

He returns to France, works for a while as a researcher for the I.N.A. (National audiovisual Institute)

where he makes a ÿlm based on animated painting developping an, at that time, innovative method.

Later he starts his own company, Image In, production and postproduction of ÿlms. Meanwhile he also

accomplishes several missions as an audiovisual expert for the U.N.O., before specializing in “Flame”

the most sophisticated software in special effects.

Althoughworking intensely in the world of motion pictures, his journey in painting is essential to him

and continues, regardless where he lives or what he is doing.

During all these years his work develops itself in intimacy, without any contact with the public or

presentation to the medias.

In the nineties however, he begins to feel the need for exchange, to create opportunities for

contact with the outside world. He starts to participate at some group exhibitions and has a few solo

shows.
