MAKING THINGS MOVE

How many ways can we use the straws to make the blocks move?

A big ‘push’ like a flick makes the blocks shoot across

the floor really fast!

I can makea ‘push’ by

blowing through the straw.

Lifting the blocks up is a ‘pull’.

What about making another ‘pull’ by sucking the block

up with the straw?

I could try making a tower with the blocks then throwing the

straws at it to knockit down. That would be

another ‘push’.

I can ‘push’ the blocks across the floor and I can

‘pull’ them up off the floor with my straw

chopsticks.
