Make Time 4 Mental Health

We are taking part in the Time to Change campaign to Make Time 4 Mental Health across the month of November.

Mental health is an ordinary part of life and we want to make it easier to talk about it.

What is good mental health?

True or False?

Good mental health means being able to learn, enjoy friendships, develop talents and capabilities.

Good mental health means never feeling sad or anxious.

What are mental health problems?

True or False?

When someone experiences a mental health problem it can affect their thinking, their mood, and their ability to relate to others as they usually would.

Mental health problems can happen to anyone.

Eating disorders and schizophrenia are the most common mental health problems.

Make Time 4 Mental Health

We all have mental health just as we all have physical health and it varies across the course of our lives.

1 in 10 young people will experience a mental health problem.

My treatment has given me a very positive outlook on life and excitement for the future.

My story is one of hope, even the darkest long nights end eventually.

I still have down days, but thankfully these are few and far between.
