Make every minute count!
If you answered yes to any of these then you need some help with time management
Have you ever: - forgotten homework?- handed work in late? - raced to finish work the night
before?- been unhappy with its quality?- felt stressed because of a lack of time?
Good time management means you will meet deadlines, be more productive, put things off less and be less stressed.
So how can you manage your time better?
of what you need to do. Put it in order of importance and tick it off as you finish
Make a list
Plan your days and create a timetable Think about what else you need to do each day sport, dance, work etc and put those on your timetable first.
Use lots of reminders
such as your student planner, e-diary, wall planner, post-it notes and your phone
Set deadlines a few days before a task is due
Break each task down into smaller steps, keep repeating this process until each step only takes 5 minutes and then do that step
Divide and conquer
stop making excuses and just start
Make a start
Stop multi-tasking - focus and concentrate on one thing at a time.
