Now off to the real juicy part...

When we started thinking about how to create a personalization campaign we needed to get our heads together and brainstorm.

What's the most important for Long Tail Pro potential users?How can we personalize a video for them & make it super relevant?

The target market already knows the importance of SEO. They know what a keyword is. BINGO. Keyword. We had it!

So we decided to create a video where the #1 keyword that the user wants to rank for is displayed over and over again. This was a unique concept and a cool way to integrate personalization.

Step #1 - ResearchWhat you really want to know is how we did everything? Well...

first we looked at the website:

We studied it. The salespage everything.

Then we watched the sales video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2xPvDfEq34Over and over again. And again.

Step #2 - Select MediaWe were first thinking that we should use the sales video for

the personalization campaign. Yes that would make sense but it just didn't fit. Completely. We wanted more. We wanted for

the campaign to have edge.

So we quickly re-made a video...

And you can check out all the personalization we input in there:

• Input the viewer's name in the beginning

• Made a Google-like results page where we showed the keywords

• Made the keyword pop up a few more times

Step #3 - Personalize

Lee Pennington used video personalization with a promotional campaign he did for an affiliate product bringing in people's names & email addresses into the video which included screenshots of PayPal now with the viewer's name on it. Nice to see a PayPal screenshot with a $60,000 balalnce & your name on it...

Step #4 - Create Landing PageTime to create the landing page. We chose leadpages.net for

this & spun up a quick page with the text:

Keywords, now made easy with LongTailPro.

We wanted a strong call to action and something intriguing to really get those click throughs. We matched the colors of the Long Tail Pro logo & the website.

Step #5 - Create AutoresponderAfter that we created the follow up campaign in

GetResponse. We wanted to make it sharp so we chose the "webinar" template & ensured that we put some nice

graphics for the background & the video player which gave it an edge. When people clicked they hit the personalized vid.

We wanted a strong call to action and something intriguing to really get those click throughs. We matched the colors of the Long Tail Pro logo & the website.
