• The tundra is at the top of the world near the North Pole.

Animals of the Tundra
• Musk-ox, caribou, reindeer, sedge, lichen, willow, Arctic hare snowshoe rabbit, lemming, wolf, artic fox, snowy owl, Polar bears, and sometimes brown bears are seen. There are some that find a place to hibernate during the winter months.

• Short summers and long winters
• In the summers the temperature rises to 520F and in the winters the temperature drops to -920F
